Value-Added Services are effective September 1, 2026 - August 31, 2027.

Apply for Texas CHIP

24-Hour Advice Hotline

Members can call a 24/7 Nurse Help Line to decide where to get care. Nurses also give health tips, check in after visits, and help members find doctors in the network.

Extra Help Getting a Ride

Members can get help with transportation to doctor鈥檚 visit by contacting MTM Health or using the app to schedule rides.

Disease Management

Upon request, diabetic members ages 0-65 can receive:

One diabetic accessory travel bag
Daily sugar recording book/log based on last receipt date

Extra Vision Services

Members ages 0 through 19 can choose $120 allowance toward upgrades every 12 months for frames, lenses, contacts or fitting fees not covered by the CHIP benefit.

Sports and School Physicals

Members ages 4 through 19 get one sports or school physical each year from an in鈥憂etwork provider.

Help for Members with Asthma

Members enrolled in 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Asthma Care Management Program get:

Asthma educational materials
One allergy-free pillowcase and mattress cover

Limit: one per member

Extra Help for Pregnant Women

Members use the ProgenyHealth app to track their pregnancy, chat with a case manager, see your baby grow, set health goals, and make a birth plan with helpful support

听

Yearly, pregnant women 18 through 65 after using the ProgenyHealth* app receive a set of 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Precious Care Collection:

Nursing pads
One diaper bag
One baby grooming kit

NOTE: Pregnant women will receive the items after downloading the ProgenyHealth* mobile app, enroll and complete an assessment.

Health and Wellness Services

麻豆传媒映画 gives diabetic members ages 5 through 19 in the DM program access to a nutritionist who can help them learn about healthy eating and weight loss
Members can get $100 for an annual BakerRipley membership for exercise and skill-building. Members must be active and live in Harris County
Pregnant women 17 through 19 with a delivery date in the current/previous year and High school seniors 17 through 19 can apply for our CareerReady scholarship program

Healthy Play and Exercise Programs

Diabetic members ages 5 through 19 enrolled in the nutritional counseling program get a free pedometer to help them track their steps
$40/year for school sponsored sports expenses
Support for students up to grade 12. Play, learn, and earn
$50 gift card each year for members up to grade 12 who participate in a youth sports league (apart from extra-curricular, school sponsored activities)
Ages 6 years through 17 years who live in the Harris Service area may join a participating location of the Boys and Girls Club in the Greater Houston area for free
